Our weekend is classified by the track as a non-spectator event. This means that the track does not sell tickets for the weekend and everyone who wants to come in for whatever reason needs to be on a list that's at the gate.
We usually have around 500 non-racers/guests/family/crew. We are having an Alfa car corral so we expect more this year. Everyone needs to sign the WGI and VRG waivers and get a wristband so they can get in and out after the initial entry. So, if someone who is not a racer (with a car) wants to enter, they need to get on that list. We have 3 ways to gather names:
- A racer can put them on their crew list, which is unlimited.
- VRG is 100% volunteer, we can always use help. Working the grid is a great way to be involved, helpful and "in the action"! We get some grid people from the track but even part time volunteers are very welcome! No experience necessary!
- If not a "crew" and you don't wish to help with the event, there is a Google form set up here for people to enter names, and I will get them on the gate list. Again, unlimited and free. https://forms.gle/tBRJLScspvVH6WzeA.
If you would like to camp (non-racers) for the weekend or one night, please reach out to me.
